Established in 2017, Door 4 Brewing Co. sits inside the 4th door on the lower level of the Marquis Beverage Campus. As the area's only Illinois Made brewery, Door 4 creates and cans craft beer and cold brewed D4 Nitro Coffees.
Located in Decatur, Illinois and founded with the purpose of providing high quality beverages and more. Our approach is to foster creativity, fun, and excitement around craft beer. We will always look to find ways to improve on what we are doing to make our brewery a destination and our products the choice of knowledgeable beer fans everywhere.
Our food truck offers a variety of hand crafted food selections and has made the taproom a destination for Sunday Brunch. Our video gaming and indoor Rocket Axe throwing lanes compliment the taproom which features 36 handles and a choice selection of spirits, wines, slushies and more. Door 4 is the only brewery in Decatur, Illinois to feature an on-site food truck and axe throwing.
Door 4 is the home to community events and entertainment year round. Whether it is live music, stand up comedy, fundraisers, trivia nights, parties or corporate events, Door 4 strives to keep a full calendar to meet the needs of Decatur, Illinois and its surrounding areas. We offer more than craft beer and nitro coffee. We have a variety of domestic beers, ciders, wines, spirits, sodas and coffees.
Our beers are available in cans in stores and on draft in numerous restaurants and bars throughout Central Illinois.
Every week our calendar is filled with a variety of events nearly every single day. Our in-house stage has showcased countless entertainers including national touring comedians and musicians. We have hosted festivals, fundraisers, family days, raffles, bingo, after parties, showers, trunk shows, trivia nights, tasting parties and so many other fun activities.
Our taproom is available for use even during our off hours for private and semi-private events. Businesses have hosted meetings and given presentations on our flatscreens. Charities have used the space to raise money through a variety of ways from ticketed events to hosting fundraisers. We have clubs and organizations that routinely host their meetings and gatherings in the brewery.
We are a family friendly establishment. We have a variety of board and card games to play for people of all ages. There is a wall filled with ultra-high definition television screens with plenty of sports and other programming being shown. We have a green space for your four-legged friends and outdoor seating when the weather is nice. We also have non-alcoholic drinks available including a variety of sodas and of course, Our D4 Nitro Coffee.
Community is very important to us and we are open to working with local businesses, organizations and individuals on helping to make their events a success. Our popular food truck is open. Our menu is loaded with scratch made recipes to compliment our craft beers. From hand tossed pizzas, to smoked barbecue and hand-battered chicken, each item is chosen with care. Many of our handcrafted items are infused with our beers or coffee from Marquis.
We feature made to order Sunday Brunch that blends staples from breakfast and some of our signature selections available for lunch and dinner. Our taproom team also breaks out the Premium Bloody Mary Bar and Mimosa Towers for our famous Sunday Brunch. The food truck is available for large events at the brewery and for catering. We have served hundreds of people during a single event, so no job is too large. We can work with you on a menu specific for your event, even if it is food that we don't currently offer. We offer buffet service, appetizers, desserts or individual meals for your group. We can work with you to make sure the food for your event is as special as the event itself.
Door 4 Brewing Co. has partnered with Rocket Axe to provide Decatur, Illinois' only axe throwing experience. Axe throwing is one of the fastest growing recreational and competitive sports sweeping the nation and now you can try your hand at it at Door 4.
Axe throwing is exciting for individuals and groups alike. We offer open throwing as well as competitive games that are perfect for groups of friends and team building for organizations. We will frequently host competitions with prizes and seasonal league play for those looking to play regularly.
Our axe throwing lanes are available by reservation at Rocket Axe and on some days we will take walk-ups based on availability. No previous skill is needed. Our qualified coaches will get you up to speed to be able to confidently and safely throw axes with us. All you need to do is bring closed-toe shoes and we will handle the rest. 3,2,1 - Throw!
